The Junior League of Arlington, Inc. (JLA) is a nonprofit, educational, and charitable organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. JLA's vision is Setting the Standards for Leadership, Advocacy, Community Development, Voluntarism, and Abuse Prevention.
Our focus is that abuse of any kind should never occur. Among its many outreach programs, the Junior League of Arlington focuses specifically on the prevention of physical, emotional, and psychological abuse. The JLA aims to challenge abuse through educational and charitable initiatives.
We host several events throughout the year and have done the following this year:
Gave away over 660 dresses
Donated 200 toys for Toys for Tots
Donated hygiene items and organized the Rainbow Room
Serve 10,000 kids and families at the Arlington Back to School Kick Off
Donated over 11,000 wipes and 5,000 diapers to AISD
