The Mission of the Junior League of Central Westchester is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and education.

The Junior League of Central Westchester (JLCW) is guided by the following values: Diversity, Collaboration, Community, Empowerment, Leadership, Respect, & Service.

The Junior League welcomes all women who value our Mission. We are committed to inclusive environments of diverse individuals, organizations, and communities.

Our membership votes annually on a slate of community projects to support.  Projects generally aim to support and sustain improvements in five key areas of impact:

Ending Gender-Based Violence
Improving Health Outcomes and Disparities
Eradicating Poverty and Food Insecurity
Closing the Gender Gap
Advancing Childhood Education

JLCW projects support between 5-10,000 Community members annually.  Our program with greatest reach is the Westchester County Diaper Bank, founded by JLCW.  Since inception, over two million diapers have been distributed to families experiencing need or economic insecurity.
