Founded in 1929 by 12 women, The Junior League of Williamsport is a group of women who have a commitment to community service, are interested making new friends, and most importantly, an interest in developing her potential for voluntary community participation. We have committed over 85 years of service to Lycoming County. We have provided manpower, management and/or money to hundreds of organizations.
Our mission statement is that we are an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving our community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
Our vision is that the Junior League of Williamsport is a regional resource and advocate committed to improving the quality of life for children and their families.
