The Juvenile Law Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that was created in 2015 for the purpose of providing scholarships to juveniles involved in the Texas juvenile justice system. This includes juveniles who are or were served by a Texas law enforcement first offender program or juvenile probation department or who were committed to the Texas Juvenile Justice Department.

Research has shown that education is a main factor in helping someone become a law-abiding, productive member of society. It is important to the continued rehabilitative efforts of the juvenile justice system.

The Foundation holds one major fundraiser event each year. Though not a part of the annual Juvenile Law Conference, it is held at the conference location. The conference is attended by approximately 500 attorneys, judges, probation officers, and law enforcement officers from throughout Texas.
