I am writing to you in an attempt to secure items to use as incentives for our school academic and behavioral incentive program. With the current levels of funding, increases to educational materials, and increases to individual teacher costs it is unacceptable to assume the classroom teachers should purchase incentives for the students directly.

                Therefore, in an attempt to bolster our school community and to better serve our approximately 700 elementary school students, we will be engaging in multiple incentive efforts. As our school is in an extremely high needs area with universal free breakfast and lunch, and a Tier 1 Title 1 designation, we cannot simply reach out to our neighborhood and parent community.  Therefore, we plan to engage a larger swath of the Las Vegas community. To do this we are requesting items that will energize and engage those who would not normally contribute to our school community.
