I am writing on behalf of Kairos Faith Sisterhood and Champions Corporation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to empowering young women aged 13-30 who have experienced abuse, domestic violence, homelessness, miscarriages, single parenthood, and abandonment. Our mission is to provide mentorship, support, and opportunities for socialization, ultimately helping these resilient individuals reclaim their lives and find happiness.
KFS&C hasbeen doing a incredible work in many communities, particularly in the areas of Middlesex, Essex, Somerset, and Union counties.
We are seeking support for a unique program that aims to provide these young women with the opportunity to travel the world and experience new cultures. Many of them have never had the chance to explore beyond their immediate surroundings, and this program would open doors to new horizons, broaden their perspectives, and inspire them to dream big.
Our objective is to pair each young woman with a mentor, who will serve as their "big sister" throughout the program. The mentor will provide guidance, support, and encouragement, helping the young women navigate unfamiliar territories and make the most of their travel experiences. By combining mentorship with global travel, we aim to empower these young women, boost their self-esteem, and instill a sense of adventure and possibility in their lives.
