We are a county of 14,710 in population. The county seat is in Karnes City and the government intity Karnes County conducts business on behalf of the tax payer, as public servants. We serve through our Sheriff's Office, EMS, Tax, Treasuer, County Clerk, Districk Clerk, County Road & Bridge, 911 Permits, Adult/Juvinelle Probation, and so many other offices. Our employees have a holiday luncheon to acknowledge thier years of sercive to the tax payers of the county. We provide awards employees hitting 5,10,15,20,25,30+ years of service. We serve a meal and have a raffle drawing.
