Kenrick-Glennon Seminary is a proper ecclesial community of the Archdiocese of Saint Louis preparing men for the ministerial priesthood of Jesus Christ in the Catholic Church. Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and to the glory of God the Father, we seek each seminarian’s configuration to the Heart of Jesus Christ, High Priest and Shepherd, so that he can shepherd whole heartedly with Christ’s pastoral charity.
We have approximately 135 seminarians from 18 different sending dioceses. Through our spiritual, human, intellectual and pastoral formaiton, we prepare young men for ordination to the priesthood in the Roman Catholic Church. It is our mission to help young men become disciples of Jesus Christ and to prepare them to joyfully and wholeheartedly embrace the gifts and responsibilities of the priesthood.
