Kesem is an organization that provides a free week of summer camp to children whose parents have cancer. When a parent is diagnosed with cancer, their whole family is impacted. For children, they often lose the ability to be carefree and adventurous as they must assume responsibilities most young children do not. To reduce some of the burden our camper families face, our staff, comprised of college students, raises money throughout the year to keep Camp Kesem entirely free. This year, our fundraising goal is $50k.
