Kesem at the University of Arizona is one of 130 501(c)(3) nonprofit chapters across the U.S led by passionate college students aiming to support children ages 6-18 who have been impacted by a parent or guardian’s cancer journey. We do this by providing our week-long flagship program, Camp Kesem, in the summer as well as year-round peer support free of charge to the families we serve. Our mission is to create safe and fun environments for children of shared experiences to develop friendships, build their confidence, and just be a kid.
