Kester Avenue Elementary is a National Blue Ribbon School and California Distinguished School located in the heart of Sherman Oaks. We serve over 850 students in grades K through 5 including our gifted/high-ability magnet. The Kester Avenue PTA is a group of parent volunteers, teachers, staff, and administrators who work together to help all of our students and teachers get access to resources that our public school system does not provide.

Every year, Kester’s PTA organizes events and fundraisers that help us provide a wide variety of educational opportunities and enhance the elementary school experience for our diverse student population. We are proud to be able to fund enrichment classes including music, art, science lab, PE, computer lab and mindfulness. We help cover the cost of technology, classroom supplies, and field trip buses for our teachers. We pay for campus beautification projects, and extra Teachers and Nurses Assistants. We’re always ready to jump in and help out when our school is in need of resources or volunteers.

None of this is possible without the support of business donors like you.

We are currently collecting merchandise, gift cards, and gift baskets for Silent Auctions and Raffles featured at our upcoming events. Raffles will be included at our monthly restaurant nights and other fun events. These include Kester’s Trunk or Treat event, Movie Night, Kester’s Annual Gala - a fun social gathering for grown ups only, and Rockin’ for Kester, a music festival starring our very own Kester students.

Anything your business is able to contribute for one or more of these events would be greatly appreciated! Donations are tax-deductible and 100% of the proceeds go to the Kester Avenue PTA. Not only is this a fantastic opportunity to support a local public school, it's also a chance to gain valuable exposure for your business, as these events are known to draw many parents and community leaders.
