Mission: Through local donors and youth agricultural programs, Kids Feeding Kids, a 501c3, provides resources for agencies who house and care for our community's most vulnerable.

The concept of Kids Feeding Kids was created in 2014 when four local children's shelters received a donation of meat from 4H and FFA student projects. These projects were raised by local ag kids who showed at the Comal County Junior Livestock Show, and was purchased through a local buying group.

A group of volunteers from the buying group recognized the opportunity to address the ongoing need in the community, coupled with supporting ag youth, and carried the concept forward. On June 24, 2021, Kids Feeding Kids officially became a 501(c)(3) allowing us to provide even more resources for those who need it most.

With our main fundraiser in October, and donations throughout the year, we raise money to invest in youth ag projects. Those projects are then processed and donated right back into our community.

We also receive generous donations directly through student exhibitors as we did at the Comal County Jr Livestock show. Student exhibitors donated 98 broilers to the shelters across Comal County through Kids Feeding Kids. The animals were shown on Wednesday, processed on Thursday, and picked up on Friday by local shelters in record time.

Your support will help us in ensuring shelters such as Connections Individual and Family Services, Crisis Center of Comal County, New Life Children’s Center of Comal County, Kid’s Club and St. Jude’s Social Services-Texas have stocked freezers year round, along with additional aide we can provide.
