Kids 'n Kinship's mission is to provide friendships and positive role models to children and youth ages 5 to 16 who are in need of an additional supportive relationship with an adult. Our vision is to build a stronger community through youth mentorships.
Our program serves kids who come from single parent households that show a need for a positive adult in their life. The kids we serve are located in Apple Valley, Burnsville, Eagan, Farmington, Lakeville and Farmington and Rosemount.
Volunteer mentors must be at least 21 years old to qualify. They also go through a screening process to ensure they are a good fit and to help us make the best match that will succeed for at least a year or more.
