Kids Soar is a non-profit organization that has been in operation for over 30 years. We have two locations in Roanoke, VA. Kids Soar strives to break the cycle of poverty through literacy education. Along with our after-school program, we also host family nights where the families can take classes in financial literacy, childcare, and presentation from various professionals who can offer our families help in other areas of their lives.We also offer a clothes closet that provides our children with new clothes for every season and a food bank that offers bags of groceries to families who are in need. To allow our families the most support possible without putting a financial burden on them, our programs are offered at low-cost to our families (this includes our after school literacy program.)
The money raised through our auction will benefit Kids Soar's after-school literacy programs. It will allow us to expand our services to more families in the community, as well as provide more opportunities for hands-on learning for our children enrolled!
