The Kirkland Boys Youth Baseball (DBA: Kirkland Rec League) and the Kirkland Girls Softball leagues joined together on December 5, 2021 and became known as Kirkland Rec League. Although it is a new name, we are not a new program. Little League has been a part of Kirkland since January 17, 1958. As an organization, we week to provide recreational opportunities for the youth of our community ages 4-14 years old, including but not limited to, baseball and softball.
We provide a comprehensive recreational program that promotes and encourages the spirit of competition, teamwork, sportsmanship, communtiy and fair play. We coordinate and manage a spring season for the boys and girls, as well as winter day camps.
We have a desire to give the youth of our community something positive that will build qualities in them that they can take with them into adulthood. We have over 100 players from Kirkland (school enrollment of under 500) involved this year. Our annual tournament serves teams from 3-4 surrounding counties.
