The Kirkwood High School Pioneer Parent Organization exists for charitable and educational purposes and to enhance the learning opportunities available to students by sponsoring programs and activities consistent with the school’s goals and objectives. The KHS PPO also shall facilitate and enhance both the educational as well as the social growth of KHS students within a drug-free and alcohol-free environment and foster good relations among parents, teachers, staff and the Kirkwood community.
The PPO supports the KHS and its students in many ways, including funding major departmental grants, teacher appreciation activities, social and community building opportunities for students and families, development of outdoor learning spaces, and increased access to STEAM programming. It is also a priority of our PPO to provide financial support to our School's families in need.
