Mission Statement

Kitty City Kansas Rescue is dedicated to saving the lives of those kittens and cats at highest risk of euthanasia in area shelters.

Vision Statement

Through rescue and public education, Kitty City Kansas Rescue is working to create a world in which every shelter animal is given a chance at life, love, and a forever home.

In the words of Dr. Martin Luther King, “Never, never be afraid to do what’s right, especially if the well being of a person or animal is at stake.  Society’s punishments are small compared to the wounds we inflict on our soul when we look the other way.” 

Kitty City Kansas Rescue believes that every life is precious.  This is reflected in our relationship with all people and the animals in our care as we act with the utmost compassion, integrity, honesty and respect toward them.
