Koan School is a non-profit private school serving students in PK - 12th grade. Our mission is to provide a low-cost alternative for private education while keeping class sizes small enough to accommodate the diverse interests and skills of young learners in our community.
The school is located on a beautiful 15-acre farmstead, complete with animals, natural ponds, and woods for exploring. The main building on the property was converted from a single-family home into a charming 5-room school house.
Our school serves a diverse groups of learners through creating a safe and engaging academic environment. We use hands-on experiences and problem solving scenarios to helps students along on their academic journey.
