KOPI operates at the intersection of mental health and pre-hospital emergency medicine, both locally and globally. Our founder recently launched the Safe Station Program with the City of Minneapolis in fire stations across the city for harm reduction in order to combat the negative side effects of the opioid epidemic in our community.
We also provide emergency first responder training for police officers in Arusha, Tanzania with the intent of improving positive health outcomes for victims of motor vehicle accidents- one of the leading causes of death in the region, more than AIDS, yellow fever and diptheria combined.
