Hello, my name is Hunter and I am 16 years old. I am a St. Jude patient and I have a craniopharyngioma brain tumor. I was diagnosed in 2017 and was sent straight for a craniotomy. After, I was fallowed by 30 round of radiations which caused me to have 2 more revascularization surgeries. When I had my surgeries, especially the first one, I had a lot of things I loved took away from me including football, basketball, and just about any type of sport you can think of. However, Kourageous Outdoor Kids allowed me to do the thing I was most passionate for, hunting. Kourageous Outdoor Kids is a nonprofit, Christian organization that takes kids with cancer and life threatening illnesses on hunts that are completely paid for. This includes paying for traveling, housing, food, meat processing, and taxidermy. The organization is located in Dublin, Georgia and have a website and a Facebook page. This makes is easy for families to take their kid, like me, to go hunting. They take kids from around the country on hunts. Kourageous Outdoor Kids has done more things for me than I can put in this email. So, to give back to the organization and help other kids like me, I am trying to get sponsorships and or donations for the organization and especially the kids for the hunt. I was hoping you would be able to help the organization. Because I live in north East Tennessee it’s hard for me to get people to donate. So I have the idea of making a Smokey Mountain getaway auction basket to raffle off. The money raised would go straight to the organization.
