The L-Train Memorial Foundation Corporation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting youth seeking to achieve a post-secondary education by providing educational guidance, mentoring and financial support for those in need. Our organization has been making a difference in the community by providing over $15,000 in scholarships to youth in Essex and Union counties and continuing to support our local communities through multiple fundraisers and drives. The organization was established in the memory of my father, Lorne Bennett who was an advocate, mentor, football & basketball coach, and father figure to the children in his community. The foundation not only honors his legacy but also enables Lorne’s vision for others to thrive academically and athletically to continue. We are an organization with a big heart committed to building upon my father’s legacy in positively impacting the lives of young people. Over the years, L-Train Memorial Foundation Corporation has financially assisted 16 young adults to further their education. We have provided multiple food pantries and toy drives for low income families in Essex and Union counties, New Jersey. Our organization relies on the generosity of donors and partners to continue our work. Every dollar donated to L-Train Memorial Foundation Corporation goes directly towards scholarships for students seeking post-secondary education. We strive to be transparent with our donors and regularly report on the impact of our work.
