La ola del lago is a K-5 Spanish Immersion elementary school in its 8th year in the Prior Lake/Savage district. Our mission as a PTC is to enhance the quality of education provided to our children through our support, volunteering and financial assistance.
Via the Amity Intern Program, each year we bring 4-5 Spanish speaking individuals who are pursuing a career in education to La ola del lago. They come from all over the world to work in our classrooms each and every day and enhance our kids’ education. These young adults play an important role in our mission, and the program is solely funded by our PTC. Additionally, our PTC also funds: curriculum materials, school events, library and classroom books, and other school needs.
