Since 1961, the Ladies’ Auxiliary of Arlington has awarded the title of Miss Cinderella to the candidate who raises the most money to support this great charity. The Cinderella Charity Ball is one of the most highly anticipated events each year, as it is one of the longest running charitable events in the area. It is the primary fundraiser for the Boys and Girls Clubs in Arlington. The mission of the clubs is “to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.” Money from this fundraiser will help serve over 8,000 youths, and I am honored to be able to have this opportunity to help make a difference in the lives of these children.
