MISSION: Lafayette Partners in Education is a community based education foundation run by parent volunteers working to enhance and expand the educational opportunities for students in Lafayette’s six public schools: Burton Valley, Happy Valley, Lafayette and Springhill Elementary Schools, Stanley Middle School and Acalanes High School.
Public funding is not sufficient to adequately fund the full and engaging curriculum that our students need and our community demands. LPIE raises additional revenues to support our public schools. We achieve this by providing support and programming in science, math, music, art, technology, foreign language, humanities, reading, writing, and electives. Traditionally, 92% of our income funds these essential programs, along with important student support services.
LPIE is an important and integral part of the Lafayette community. We work directly with the Lafayette School District and Acalanes High School (and Acalanes Union High School District) to identify areas for investment in core academics and enrichment, supporting programs and efforts that might otherwise be underfunded or unfunded.
We are seeking in-kind donations for our annual school fundraising event (3.21.20). The event will feature a live and online auction, and raffle. The proceeds from the event will be used to provide support and programming in science, math, music, art, technology, foreign language, humanities, reading, writing, and electives at Lafayette’s six public schools. Your donation will be visible to over 10,000 Lafayette residents and 450 event attendees. You will receive meaningful exposure and name promotion, as well as association with a respected and important local non-profit. Your generosity will be recognized in the Auction Program, and LPIE’s Thank You ad in Lamorinda Weekly. Thank you for your consideration!
