As Lions, we strive to enhance the well being of the community through our charitable giving initiatives. Some of our initiatives include 1) screening of over 4000 children for lazy eye and other vision related ussues; 2) we fund and volunteer at the Texas Lions Camp for Children with Disabilities where children can attend for one week at no cost to them; 3) we donate to causes such as hunger, pediatric cancer and diabetes screenings; 4) we donate fans to over 30 families that do not have air conditioning; and we coordinate the Blood Mobile in Lago and schedule people to give blood.
