Lake of the Woods Adaptive Watersports is a 501c3 formed in early 2016 to give differently-abled Veterans a day of activities including adaptive waterskiing, tubing, fishing, kayaking, boat rides, Zup Boarding, Paddle Boarding plus lunch all free to them and their families. In 2017, we expanded our program to differently-abled children and their families and in 2018 we again expanded to invite anyone who is differently-abled (adults and teens inc) with an emphasis on unseen disorders to our SmileS Adaptive Carnival.
We are hosting a "DiffAbility" Golf Tournament to raise funds to keep our programs free to participants. We are located 20 miles West of Fredericksburg Va up the road from Kings Dominion in Doswell. As you can imagine, KD has always been a big draw for the families and teens of our area. I know our family had season tickets throughout my children's youth.
We are asking for donations of passes to Kings Dominion for the upcoming 2024 season as we know that prize would draw a lot of interest and tickets in our raffle. In return for your support, we will recognize your business through social media, our website, printed media and mentions throughout the event.
