Dear Medieval Times,

My name is Holly Gustafson and I am the PTO Secretary at Lake View Elementary School in Huntington Beach. We are a transitional kindergarten through fifth grade school with a population of approximately 450 students. We areprimarily a low-income school with a STEAM focused curriculum.

We are gathering donations to raffle or award as prizes at our upcoming Color Run on November 28, 2018 and for incentives for the kids throughout the year. Our fundraisers help our school raise money to purchase supplies and academic programs that are no longer offered by the school district due to budget cuts. Some of the programs and supplies the PTO pays for are the music teacher for transitional kindergarten-third grade, art supplies, chromebooks, robots, field trips and much more. We are hoping that you will be able to help us with your support. We would like to ask for a donation that could be gift cards or items to be raffled off at our events. Anything you could donate would be greatly appreciated, and we’d be sure to announce your generous contributions to our entire school, community and supporters through our website, facebook page, membership newsletter and flyers.

If you have any questions or would like any additional information, please feel free to contact me. Iwould be happy to answer any question you may have regarding these programs for our school andthe ways that your business can help support it.

Sincerely,

Holly Gustafson, PTO Secretary
