Our school continues to deal with challenges due to budget cuts caused by reduced state funding. Lakeview, like other NISD schools, will be starting the school year with a reduced budget. Our school will continue to be faculty rich, but the loss of funds has impacted us in other areas. We are fortunate to have strong parental involvement and community partnerships, but we urge those who are able to contribute to our community by donating to the Lakeview Elementary PTA.
There are several opportunities throughout the year to contribute (Bobcat Family Fun Night, Bobcat Dash, and our Spring Auction and Fundraiser). We are also renewing our Community Partner program, where businesses can show their support of the Lakeview PTA once at the beginning of the school year and have their sponsorship support the school all year long.
With funds rasied at our Spring Fundraiser, we will able to fund things such as: Digitial Subscritptions, Arts & Education, equipment for PE, Field Day, Teacher Grants, school events, and more.
