MISSION STATEMENT

The Mission of the Las Vegas High School Alumni Association is to minimize unmet social, economic and educational needs of the students of Las Vegas High School.

VISION STATEMENT:
A support source for Las Vegas High School students who want, need and qualify for help with unmet social, economic and educational needs.

CASE STATEMENT:

The Las Vegas High School Alumni Association:

Dedicates itself to ensuring that Las Vegas High School will continue to serve Las Vegas community effectively.
Provideeducationalscholarships.
Solicit funding by any legal means to operate, sponsor and promote activities of current and past students through reunions, academic, extra-curricular and fundraising activities.
Maintain close contact with the Las Vegas High School itself, keeping informed of its achievements, problems, and needs.
Assist the Las Vegas High School administration in publicizing and interpreting school achievements, problems, and needs to the larger Las Vegas community.
Receive contributions in all legal forms including but not limited to gifts, grants, bequests, and dues to operate and effectuate its purposes and activities for the Las Vegas High School.
Maintain up-to-date rosters of the Association membership and keep the membership informed of activities relating to the Association and to the Las Vegas High School.
Engage in research, study, and recordation of the history of the Las Vegas High School, its faculty, and students.
Preserve the historic integrity of the original Las Vegas High School campus.
