The Laton FFA Alumni & Supporters Group supports the members of Laton FFA through providing scholarships, costs associated with leadership development events, awards and sending students to the State FFA Leadership Conference. The Laton FFA Alumni & Supporters Group hosts an annual dinner-dance to support our local high school and the members of the Laton Future Farmers of America. Our event held in the all will host both a silent and live auction with an attendance of about 250 members from the surrounding communities. Laton High School is a small necessary high school in rural Fresno County. Made of mostly migrant farm workers and their families, our students are very limited financially to participate in many events that will provide them the opportunities to escape the poverty of our community.
Our annual Dinner-Dance will be held at the Laton Lions Hall. During our event, we will be hosting a dinner along with silent and live auctions. The silent and live auctions help to support our goal of assisting our chapter with the much needed monies to assist students in their future endeavors. Any donation made by your company would go towards helping support these efforts. In turn we will provide you with donation receipts with our tax id number, and provide advertisement for your business on the auction item itself and within our event program.
