49th Street Elementary School is located on 49th Street between McKinley Avenue and Avalon Boulevard, has been in existence for over 100 years. It serves over 900 students, Pre K through 5th grades, with approximately 93% of these students being Latino and 7% African American. The staff are comprised of hard-working, dedicated individuals whose mission is to create college graduates and life-long learners.
