Lebanon Community Unit School District #9 is home to students in preschool through twelfth grade.
At LCUSD we believe:
~Each student has the capability of learning
~It is our job to always seek a better way to prepare citizens for the world of tomorrow
~It is more important than ever that we teach children strategies to learn and to apply knowledge to good use
~Students should develop a sense of respect and responsibility for themselves, for their world, and for those around them
~Students learn best when there is communication and cooperation between home and school
We at LCUSD #9 strive to develop a sense of community with our students and their parents. Because of our small class sizes and a small faculty, our teachers are fortunate to be able to communicate with each other about experiences with individual students as those students advance through the various grade levels. We are thus able to support the concept that every adult in the school is responsible for every child. That is a huge benefit to our students!
LCUSD #9 is proud of its dedicated teachers and administrators who work together to make classrooms that are alive, engaging, and filled with learning opportunities for our students. It is a place where children are encouraged to explore, wonder, and seek answers to their questions. It is a place where learning does, indeed, begin to become a life-long treasured endeavor.
