The mission of Legal Services of Northern California is to provide quality legal services to empower the poor to identify and defeat the causes and effects of poverty within our community, efficiently utilizing all available resources.
Tens of thousands of Californians cannot afford the legal help they need when faced with life changing challenges in civil court. LSNC assists ordinary people all across the Northern California, including: a veteran denied rightfully earned benefits, a family fighting wrongful evictions, survivors trying to rebuild their lives in the wake of natural disasters or a woman trapped in an abusive relationship. Legal aid fights for social justice and ensures fairness for all in our justice system.
