For over 20 years the Lewisville Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association (LCPAAA) has been a volunteer-led support system for the Lewisville Police on numerous levels of activities such as this event, citizen patrol, officer training, various community events, and Child ID services which is free to the department and to the residents of Lewisville. LCPAAA members volunteer many hours in service to the Lewisville Police Department thru fund-raising activities to provide continuous support to help make officer's job more effective.

The mission of the organization is to bring together graduates of the Lewisville Citizen Police Academy to enhance relations between the community and the Lewisville Police Department and assist the Lewisville Police Department’s operations.

We provide free Child ID services for the community and expand the service to more schools/city/county events. We provide an ID card for parents of each child with picture, fingerprint, identify markers such as eye/hair color, height/weight etc.

"Ashton's Room" is a dedicated safe/happy space at the Lewisville Police Dep. This room is used for children of a domestic situation that needs temp care until a family member or CPS can pick them up. LCPAAA are certified care givers who provides basic needs  such as; diapers, food, drink, clothes, toys, companionship and most of all, comfort during a difficult time for the child.
