Purchases made with association funds include training aids such as adult and child CPR mannequins and a life size rescue mannequin, safety supplies for the firefighters, seat belt cutters, boots for all firefighters, a donation to the Pacific Burn Institute Firefighters Kids Camp for young burn victims, also small stuffed toys to give to child victims of accident or abuse to help comfort and care, and a portion of the cost of the annual fire prevention program presented at Oak View School students K – 8th grade.  Other purchases include Hurst Tool Equipment (Jaws of Life), fire helmets and wildland fire boots for each firefighter and a thermal imager camera.  The association members also donate $1,000 annually each to the American Red Cross for local use, (this organization assists families when they have the misfortune to lose their home to fire) and to the Lodi Salvation Army for local emergencies.  Rain suits with reflective safety marking were purchased for each firefighter for protection on incidents involving rain, usually vehicle accident or wires down calls.  Class B uniform shirts and pants were purchased for each volunteer firefighter to wear on duty.  Also, duty jackets were purchased for all Liberty firefighters.
