Life Steps Foundation is a 501 C3 nonprofit that has been improving the lives of thousands of children and adults with developmental disabilities in California since 1983. Many of the individuals we assist qualify as low-to-moderate income. Life Steps trained staff specializes in providing early intervention for children diagnosed with delays, emotional challenges and physical difficulties. Additionally, our staff assists adults with developmental disabilities to achieve their maximum potential, live as independently as possible, experience greater community inclusion, and advocate for themselves. Our In-home and center based programs are much needed resources in Los Angeles County. One of Life Step's primary objectives in to foster community inclusion by strenhthening each participant's ability to work cooperatively and by empowering them to develop essential daily life skills.
