The mission of LifeBridge Partnership is to empower people with disabilities to develop skills for independence and to actively participate in the community. We partner with our clients in their pursuit of a meaningful, inclusive community life through skill building, transportation, self-advocacy and dignified personal supports. We have been serving the St. Louis metropolitan area since 1927.
LifeBridge programs include an after-school enrichment and multiple LifeBridge Camps for youth 6 to 21 years of age. The Out & About Program for adult clients conducts 20-25 community-based activities each month.
Our clients include approximately 225 children and adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. 65% of our clients live in households with income below the federal poverty level. With males representing 62% of our client base and females representing 38%, approximately 48% are African American and 42% are Caucasian.
