Lifestyles began operation in 1994 through the collaboration of parents, community organizaions, local business people and a group of developmentally disabled adults (program participants). Each group recognized the need to develop programs that provided participants with realistic work settings and experiences within the Staten Island Community and beyond.
Having served the developmentally disabled population of Staten Island for over 25 years Lifestyles continues to strive to offer more deverse and unique services. Lifestyles started as an agency which served 4 adults and families and now serves over 400. Our motto is Creating a World of Opportunities.
