Our Mission
We're a family-led, 501(c)(3) qualified non-profit based out of Southern California with a drive to bridge the gap between traditional and nontraditional treatments for epilepsy. Our mission is to fund research into innovative treatment for epilepsy and to offer holistic therapies for children living with epilepsy.
Our Goals
Our current goal is to fund a clinical study into non-psychedelic medicinal mushrooms, including but not limited to Reishi and Lions Mane for the treatment of seizures that will eventually result in the development of a mushroom-based therapeutic.
In addition to research, we strive to raise enough funds to provide a seizure-alert dog for a local child suffering from intractable seizures, as well as a year of weekly lessons with PT or OT in a non-traditional therapy setting such as surf therapy, art-therapy or hippotherapy
Our Vision
Our vision is to improve the quality of life for those living with epilepsy through funding research into innovative treatments and holistic therapies that assist with seizure-control and provide other health benefits. Our vision is to give families better choices into treatment options for their children and to help them improve in areas such as cognitive, physical and speech through a non-traditional therapeutic environment.
