LGL seeks to raise awareness of social and environmental issues and promote possible solutions through engaging and educating students, newcomers and other members of the community. LGL develops and implements programs and initiatives that promote sustainable practices within the community and provides opportunities for people to learn, get involved and foster an appreciation of their natural environment.

Preserve, Restore, Improve. Links for Greener Learning (LGL) is committed to the preservation, restoration and improvement of the natural environment. Our goal is to instill and promote balance and sustainability in the relationship between humans and the environment.

Link and build relationships between education centres, newcomers, students, government, and community groups for mutual benefits. Encourage newcomer and student involvement within the community. Facilitate opportunities for newcomers and students to actively apply disciplinary knowledge and skills.
