The purpose of this request is to ask for your consideration in making a donation for our annual Christmas fair and silent auction. As a religious community, we are working hard to make a difference locally as well as world wide. Locally we have provided the Lisbon Area Christai Outreach (our local food and clothing bank) monetary donations, thousands of pounds of food as well as many voluntter hours. We hold free annual breakfasts with Mr. and Mrs. Santa, as well as the Easter Bunny. In 2018, to help promote literacy, we gifted each child attending 2 books. e do not want our neighbors being cold in the winter so for the past 3 years, we have provided monetary support to a heating assistance program We are currently planning our 4th annual 5K in which the proceeds are divided between our food pantry and this heating assistance program. We have provided assistance to flood victims by providing cleaning buckets, provided hygiene kits to young girls in Haiti, which allows them to attend school 45 more days each year. We help keep the student pantry at our local high school stocked with needed items for our homeless students and provide much needed school supplies to our teachers. Along with many other, our church is making a committement to help others throughout the world.
