Eunice Demond is a wildlife rehabber that has been working without any issue for the past 13 years. Her rehabilitation center has been at her home in Guilford. During the pandemic, a new neighbor purchased land adjacent to her property and built a new home. His complaint of flies and rodents were directed soley at Eunice, although no evidence was ever found that his pests were a result of her rehabilitating. On the contrary, his home is in the woods, and next to the Guilford train station, which is home to many flies and rodents. Nevertheless, the new neighbor decided to shut her down, and single handedly did just that. A court hearing this past May made a final ruling against her.

Now she is in the process of rebuilding.

The town of Guilford has leased a parcel of land to Eunice as a safe and secure spot she can use to rebuild her rehabilitation center.

My event hopes to raise enough through auction and sponsorship to fund the rebuild.
