Long Live Dylan, Inc. (aka LLD) was founded after 20-year-old, Dylan Charles Astacio, a Seminole County, FL resident was killed in a reckless driving incident on May 16, 2023.
Dylan had a huge heart, was an extremely giving person and was always the first one to help anyone in need. In the wake of the unspeakable tragedy of losing Dylan, his family founded LLD to provide charitable initiatives in Dylan’s name in his community to ensure that his light will continue to shine through helping others.
The mission & purpose of Long Live Dylan, Inc. (aka LLD) is to provide charitable initiatives in the Seminole County, FL community:
1) LLD provides Seminole State College Scholarships to Seminole County, FL high school seniors.
2) LLD provides Percussion Scholarships in Dylan's name at his high school alma mater, Oviedo High School, in Seminole County, FL to help families in need offset the high costs of marching band participation.
3) LLD provides support and sponsorship to the Stenstrom Elementary "Backpack Program" by assisting families-in-need with food, books and other needs over weekends and holidays.
4) LLD also seeks to develop a program to raise awareness about the dangers and tragic effects of reckless driving.
