Loomis Basin Charter School is in our 15 th year and has the distinction of being an International Baccalaureate World School offering both the Primary Years Program and the Middles Years Program. We are one of a few schools in California to offer both these educational programs on the same site. Our vision here at LBCS is “We are a community of learners empowered to enact positive change in the world.” Our aim is to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help create a
better and more peaceful world through understanding and respect. Our programs teach students to connect their classroom experiences to the real world around us and focus on developing critical and
compassionate thinkers.
