The Lustgarten Foundation exists to transform pancreatic cancer into a curable disease. We are committed to stretching the boundaries of science and centering our research programs on the areas with the greatest potential for impacting patients, including earlier detection, therapeutics and personalized medicine.
Our comprehensive research program focuses on early detection and interception, therapeutic development, and personalized medicine so that we can bring the most cutting-edge science from the lab bench to the clinic, where it can be tested on patients, with the goal of giving patients a better quality of life and hope for a cure. We aim to advance breakthroughs in the understanding of the initiation and progression of pancreatic cancer to improve the diagnosis and treatment of the disease and provide more hope for the future.
