Lynn Meadows Discovery Center children's museum inspires children, families and communities through the arts, interactive educational experiences and exploration. We offer all children the opportunity to create, imagine, think and have fun. We are an anchor of the community providing a hands-on environment where children can be comfortable exploring and expressing themselves. The programs, events and activities offered by Lynn Meadows Discovery Center enrich the community and build confidence in kids.
To better serve our community we host a Free Friday Night once a month to give every child an opportunity to experience our museum. We partner with a low income apartment complex providing STEM education in the summer, books and activity packets for the children and families as well as provide free transportation for these families to enjoy our Free Friday Nights.
We also partner with a local school district to provide free field trips and STEM education to more than 800 students. Children on the autism spectrum and their families can visit the museum during Sensory Friendly days free of charge. Children have the opportunity to have a fun, enjoyable and interactive learning experience in a comfortable and accepting environment.
