The Macoupin Center for the Developmentally Disabled (MCDD) is a day learning center fostering growth and independence for adults with developmental disabilities living in Macoupin County. Our mission at MCDD is to make a positive and lasting impact in the lives of developmentally disabled adults by providing an empowering environment built on education, compassion, and dignity. Our vision is to help adults with developmental disabilities throughout Macoupin and surrounding counties retain and expand their social, life, and academic skills.
MCDD is a nonprofit organization, meaning we do not receive state or federal funding. MCDD must host fundraisers and write grants year-round to fund our programs. Donations from our community are of the utmost importance to the Center as they allow us to host the most profitable fundraisers possible and provide exceptional care and supplies to our students.
