1. To serve the citizens of Madison and Oglethorpe Counties by housing, caring for, and placing stray and unwanted dogs and cats; by offering low-cost vaccinations and sterilization; and by striving to save as many as possible while reducing pet overpopulation.
2. We will achieve this mission by providing temporary housing and nourishment for stray, abused, and otherwise unwanted animals; returning lost animals to owners; placing unwanted animals into reputable homes via an adoption process; partnering with rescue groups; euthanizing animals if adoption fails or is otherwise necessary; and educating the public on humane animal care and population control.
