In 2017, Amanda Wilk (Mandy) was diagnosed with colon cancer that had spread to her liver. In 2020, her brother Adam (Founder and Executive Director of Mandy's Foundation) volunteered to become a living donor and donate 65% of his liver to give Mandy a second lease on life. Since then, Adam has made it his mission to help those who are battling cancer. With the help of Mandy and the Mandy's Foundation Board of Directors, the team has successfully hosted various fund raisers including the annual Mandy's Foundation Golf Outing to provide funding for the art therapy program at the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago, IL.
