As the primary resource for people experiencing hunger and food insecurity in Montgomery County, Maryland, Manna strives to end hunger through food distribution, education, and advocacy. In 2023, Manna supported over 50,000 of our neighbors at 25 distribution sites and 32 pop up pantries throughout the county. Manna also provided 97,305 bags of Smart Sack weekend food at 56 elementary schools. In addition, Manna partners with 29 farms to procure fresh produce for distribution as well as partnering in community food rescue and providing community education in the form of cooking classes and workshops to participants throughout the county.
